Missy Ellis- Lead Vocals & Harmony – You can say she gets it honest or it runs in the family, but either way you say it- it comes out with the same result!! Born and raised on the outskirts of the Rock n Roll Capital of the World (Cleveland, OH) “Missy Rae”- (Michelle Ellis) the only girl of 5, grew up listening to sultry sounds of Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Hank Williams, Merle, and Loretta Lynn. Her mother, Margie Lee, a Nashville recording artist, introduced Missy to music at an early age 11- when she entered her into a talent contest at local VFW and won! Missy has performed at the Ohio State Fair as a pre- opening act for Alabama and as an opening act at the Lodi Veterans Festival for John Conley, she also has recorded on 2 records written by Margie Lee and former band Southern Stars leader, Rick Hager; ( You Don’t Follow Thru, and TLA- True. Love Always) She has continued singing and performing since she moved to TN 23 years ago, from crowds of 20, to 3500+ Missy has performed at the Greene County Fair, Jefferson County Fair, and was a regular National Anthem singer for the Tennessee Smokie’s Baseball Team. While country is her 1st love- she also finds the rock and blues influences of Etta James, Stevie Nicks, Susan Tedeschi, Adele, Melissa Etheridge, and Delbert McClinton appealing in her repertoire. Laney Wilson, The Judds, Chris Stapleton round out her country influences, but if you ask Missy- she will tell you her biggest influence is her mother! “If it wasn’t for my mother, I would’ve NEVER stepped on to a stage. I was so shy and bashful, I looked at the ground whenever I sang, I just wanted people to hear me sing, and not have to do it while people stared”. Missy now spends her time performing with The Final Justice Band and resides in Newport, TN with her son Josh. She has a daughter, Ashley and her husband Zack who live in Tazewell with their 2 boys (Hayden & Hunter) She spends as much time with them as possible and has had them on stage singing with her too. Someone once asked me “you really love to sing don’t you, and I replied- more than the air I breath, that’s how much I love to sing”.

David Northern: Vocalist, Lead Guitarist & Keyboard- David began playing guitar at the age of 8 years old, growing up his influences included Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, by the time he as 19- he added the styles of Mickey Gilley and Jerry Lee Lewis by adding the talents of keyboard to his resume. He can play everything from guitar, bass, lead, keyboard, harmonica to mandolin and drums. Having played on the big stage with the drummer for James Brown, Michael Middlebrooks, he knows what it takes to be a musician; he’ll tell you- practice- practice – practice, and then more practice. Dave attended and played in church for some years, and then formed the original “Final Justice Band”. He has performed a lot of venues in East TN, but when you ask him which instrument he prefers to play – he would choose any 1 of his 7 selection of guitars- a Mitchell acoustic, Fender Strat or Telecaster. “Dave is 1 of the most talented, gifted musicians I’ve ever met, he can literally listen to a song and have it learned in about 10 minutes- sometimes less than that, I’ve honestly never seen anything like it”. ( quote from Missy Ellis-band member)

Roger Hess:-Drummer & Vocals: Roger began playing drums around the age of just 16. He began in Maryland and then moved to East Tennessee later in life and continued to play with a variety of bands. He is now the drummer and vocalist for the Final Justice Band. His early influences are Led Zepplin, Grand Funk Railroad, Bad Company, Beetles and the Rolling Stones, but Roger has played everything from Classic rock, to Blues & Country. Roger is married and lives in Greeneville with his wife Wilma.

Chris Hoopes-Bass & Vocals: Chris is the most recent member of the Final Justice Band. Having performed in college and community orchestras, Chris became interested in music while playing flute and oboe in California. He began performing as a keyboard player for a contemporary Christian rock band in the '90s. He later switched to guitar and bass after moving to Tennessee, concentrating on blues, country, and rock. His influences are Tim Pierce, Lee Rocker, John Deacon, Billy Joel, Marcus Miller, Midge Ure, Tim Finn, Jeff Lynne and Paul McCartney. Chris is married and resides in Powell, TN.
